Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Hospital is an after-hours and weekend emergency service providing the highest quality emergency and critical care to companion animal patients.

Our emergency service will care for your pet when your family veterinarian is not available. Our veterinarians are available 24 hours a day to provide the necessary medical attention with compassion and respect. Board certified surgical specialists are also on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for surgical emergencies.

During your pet's stay, we will communicate directly with you and your veterinarian. Your pet will be transferred back to your regular veterinarian unless they feel it's best for your pet to remain under the care of our experienced in-house specialists. We always provide prompt and complete medical records to your veterinarian to ensure continuity of care.

Hospital Policies

Our doors are always open and our phones are answered 24 hours a day. Please do not hesitate to contact us. In the emergency room, each case is triaged; the patients requiring the most urgent attention will receive the most immediate care.

Fees are due at the time of service–typically a deposit is taken at the time of admission with any balance due at the time of discharge. We accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Care Credit.
