This is a few days late, but I (Keysha) just celebrated x-mas with my family. I wanted to send you all a "Big Thank You" for taking excellent care of me while I was there on the real x-mas. I got some great new toys and I am feeling great. Thanks again for the excellent care. Lakeshore and its staff will be highly recommended by me.

We had a very difficult decision to make regarding our golden retriever, Comet. He was only eight years old. We found a massive lump under his armpit. Our vet was so concerned he removed it that day. The report came back as Maxo Fibro Carcinoma, not good. It would come back. A week later I could feel it already. I was sobbing when I took him into my vet, thinking I'd have to put him down. My vet suggested Lakeshore for another surgery. We went right in and Dr. Teunissen checked him and we decided to do the surgery the next day. When the doctor called me after the surgery it was extensive. Dr. Teunissen removed every bit he could see. Comet had a 16 inch incision, even then the doctor said he may only have 6 weeks to 3 months. Comet is now 5 months post surgery and doing wonderful. We are thankful every day, and we know it's because he had such excellent care at Lakeshore. It was worth every penny we spent. If you need a surgeon for your animal, I couldn't recommend a better doctor or center. The after care is also excellent.
