Dear Dr. Tate,
Thank you for taking care of my yellow lab, Grizzly. It is a good feeling to know that he received the best care possible. It is very apparent that everyone at your hospital cares about the animals.
I appreciated
the time that you took to explain his condition and the different treatment options. You helped me realize
I shouldn’t keep him alive for a few more days or weeks just for my sake. Even though I always knew his years were numbered and someday he would leave me, it was still very hard to let the facts sink in and make one more decision for him, one last decision in his best interest.
Thank you for doing a great job taking care of the animals.
Sincerely,
Michael J. Revane

Dr. Tate,
We (my wife, daughter and I) didn't get to see you when we picked up Gage – and, we wanted to thank you again for all of your help. So, thank you.
The entire staff at LVSEH did an amazing job. From addressing the initial trauma, to the lengthy surgery (and everything in between), I whole-heartedly believe that the reason Gage is as well off as he is – is a direct result of your combined efforts. I'm not sure he would have received the same caliber of treatment elsewhere. So, again – thank you.

Even though most people know me as a lover of Malamutes, I also have a great attachments to cats.
It is with a heavy heart that I share with you, the loss of our "Benny".
Benny found my mom when he was just 8 weeks old at the edge of the property.
With a tiny body and very LONG tail he came into our lives.
But he wasn't a healthy kitty at first. Our vet came to the conclusion that Benny was tossed from a car.
He had a broken jaw, separated lip and detached third eye lid.
After lots of love and care, he was the perfect cat. And when his little body caught up to his long tail, he also was a beautiful cat.
Benny spent
his last day at the ER Clinic in Port Washington where he was given the best care. But it was his decision
to join the rest of his friends up in heaven yesterday. He will be dearly missed by his 2 legged family,
as well as his 4 legged best friend "Sadie".

Dear Dr. Tremelling and the kind folks at Lakeshore,
We wanted to drop you a note and let you know that Touille is literally jumping for joy over the great job
you did fixing him up after his ill-fated encounter with that innocent-looking stick. He healed up quickly
and is now back to his usual tricks. The enclosed picture of Tou at the lake is from this past Fall, but after his two weeks on the injured list, he immediately got back to extreme Frisbee and the like!
His buddy Gus also thanks you. She doesn’t know what she would do without Mr. T to boss around!
We thank you for the attention Touille received and the sound advice you gave on treatment options. We are all glad to have
our boy back to his old self!
Best,
Mary Ebeling, Paul Reckner and Gus

Thank you for taking such good care of Sir. Your skill and concern
were obvious during both my visits and his stay. I am happy to tell you he is recovering from his
surgery beautifully.

Dear Doctors,
It’s unfortunate that our pets should need emergency care, but it is truly a blessing they’ve got wonderful people like you to care for them when they do need it so much. Thank you so much!

Doctors and Staff,
Merry Christmas! Thank you for the wonderful surgical work you provided for my leg in October 2007. I’m all healed and feeling great! I continue to be the most spoiled and loved dog in Port Washington. May you perform many more successful surgeries.

Dear Dr. Odders and Staff of Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists,
Just a note to thank you so very much for everything you did to help our “little girl” return to her goofy, unique personality. She is walking (with just a little bit of back swaying), barking at most everything and with no signs of pain. Bless you all and thank you.

Thank you for all the care and treatment you gave to Eva. All the doctors gave Eva such attention to her illness. The doctors and the staff were warm, kind and very helpful. Thank you for helping me with my visit times with my little girl. My kids are grown and gone and all I have are my little babies, so thank you again for all your help.
Respectfully,

Thank you for saving Tucker’s life!
We can’t begin to explain what you did for our family. Tucker means
so much to all of us and we can’t imagine life without him.
It is evident that each and every one of you who cared for him had a genuine compassion for making our dog well. Thank you for seeing that spark in him which encouraged you to pursue treatment even when it looked bleak.
Thanks for putting up with our insanity by visiting him a lot, calling all the time for updates, and asking hundreds of questions. You provided us with thorough explanations of every treatment and medication that he needed. Even after
we brought him home, you still provided answers to our ongoing questions and concerns about his recovery.
Tucker’s last blood tests came back completely normal and he is back to his goofy self, playing with his Pooh Bear, laying in the sun and barking as people and dogs go by our yard.
You are all very special people. We can’t even express our gratitude in words. Although we hope to never have to see
you again, we will always remember you and what you did for our family. We look forward to many enjoyable years with Tucker.
With deep gratitude,
Tony, Bonnie, Angela and Alex Kirst

P.S. My mommy and daddy told me to tell you thank you very much too.

Dear Doc Odders,
Thanks for getting that tumor out and allowing me a few more years with my mom and dad. They freaked out after Dr. Eli at Pewaukee Vet found the tumor. I’m glad he told my parents to talk to you. I’m also glad you got that new instrument! It sure made the surgery shorter.
I’m doing fine and back on my two mile walks every day.
Lots of doggie hugs and kisses,
Sofia

When Amy and I found out that Tandeka had cancer, we wished for him one last chance to see the snow. With your help, he got the whole Winter. The extra months he got were filled with everything he loved most: breaking new trails, snocones, three-legged snow-plowing.
We can’t thank you enough for the care and kindness the Deka-Dog received in your care.

During Port Washington’s Community Street Festival on May 31, I had the pleasure to meet some of the staff of the Lakeshore Veterinary Hospital at their information table. Several days later, we found a sick, stray kitten in our garden that needed serious medical assistance. I immediately thought of Lakeshore.
I walked in early in the morning with this sick stray and could not have been treated any better. I assumed they would be professional; what I didn’t expect was the level of sincere concern and understanding they had for the stray kitten, as well as my situation.
. . The level of true compassion, caring and understanding they showed this stray deserves to be recognized. How refreshing these days! By the way, the kitten is doing great.

Dear Dr. Stefaniak-
Thank you for treating Jasmine with such love and care. You and your team were amazing and really
made her feel completely comfortable. What really impressed us was the call we received from you a few days later, checking up on Jasmine’s recovery. Wow! You just offer the little things that make you that much better! Jasmine is doing wonderfully. She’s back to her Jack Russell spunky, playful self.
Thanks Again!

Dear Everyone-
I wanted to thank you for the kindness, understanding and concern that was shown to Mollie and myself. Little did I realize the very special life I was bringing into my home when I rescued her. She had so much kindness, sweetness and unconditional love to share. The enclosed picture shows what I call, “You have
to love the Mollie”. She would roll on her back and want a belly rub. The world is a lesser place without
her. I will always miss Mollie very much. Once again, thank you.
Best wishes,
Richard

Dear Dr. Odders & Staff-
We just want to say thank you for taking such good care of Suka this past February. She just finished her hydrotherapy program and is doing great. Before her surgery, she would limp after walking just a short distance. Now she can walk 2-3 miles a day without a problem, and she shows improvements every day. Thanks for adding pain-free days to Suka’s future!
Sincerely,
Deanna, Michael and Suka |

We have been telling everyone how wonderful your office and staff were with us on that sad night.

We had a very difficult decision to make regarding our golden retriever, Comet. He was only eight years old. We found a massive lump under his armpit. Our vet was so concerned he removed it that day. The report came back as Maxo Fibro Carcinoma, not good. It would come back. A week later
I could feel it already. I was sobbing when I took him into my vet, thinking I'd have to put him down.
My vet suggested Lakeshore for another surgery. We went right in and Dr. Teunissen checked him and we decided to do the surgery the next day. When the doctor called me after the surgery it was extensive. Dr. Teunissen removed every bit he could see. Our Comet had a 16 inch incision and was given 6 weeks to 3 months to live after his surgery. Due to Dr. Teunissen's excellent surgical abilities, Comet is now 16 months post surgery. We are thrilled!! I know a lot of prayers helped, but also know the cure is only as good as the surgeon. So, thank your again Dr. Teunissen.

Hi Dr. Teunissen,
just wanted to drop you a note and a couple of pictures of Princess with her “new legs”. I am happy that I entrusted you with Princess’ needs and care. She is doing very well and acts like a new dog! When she goes for walks, she no longer comes home and lays down. She actually
is still full of energy. We have to spell the word “WALK” around our house or she starts to bounce off the walls.
I am glad she has much better quality of life. Thank you again!
